Our Campus

The University’s Coral Gables campus is located on a 239-acre tract in Coral Gables, Florida and is one of South Florida’s prime destinations for a rich variety of arts and culture offerings.

Once on campus, conference guests have the pleasure of strolling our walkable campus, which was designed to emulate a botanical garden. With no city streets or busy roadways cutting through our campus, the University of Miami offers a safe pedestrian experience for conference guests of all ages. With the longest walk lasting no longer than 15 minutes, conference planners have flexibility in tightly scheduling events – even those that occur in different locations across campus.

To complement the beautiful Florida sunshine on your walk, the campus enjoys a number of important vegetated areas including Lake Osceola, the John C. Gifford Arboretum, the Ibis Natural Trail and numerous Palmetums. These features only add to the walkability of our campus.

The University of Miami offers its guests a variety of educational and entertaining activities for when the meeting is over – or to incorporate into your conference agenda. Guests have the opportunity to visit the award-winning Lowe Art Museum, grab a workout at the Patti & Allan Herbert Wellness Center, or even visit the Otto G. Richter Library.
